The weather is cooling down and the leaves are changing, winter is coming and we couldn't be more excited about it! Monday is a great day to start the week off on the right foot with some of our favorite ways to treat ourselves this season!
So light some pine or apple pie incense candles, pour yourself a warm infused beverage like a chai tea or pumpkin spice latte, pull out the cozy clothes and blankets, watch some Holiday Favorites with some yummy snacks, and get nice and stoney. These are all relaxing and wonderful ways to spend a cozy day, but here are some extra tips to help you feel and look best from head to toe.
DIY Canna-Face Masks
Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Face Mask
We love some pumpkin spice here at SoStonedCo. This facial mask is incredibly beneficial for moisturizing acne-prone skin, along with brightening and exfoliating. Treat yourself by baking your favorite pumpkin dessert and repurpose those leftover ingredients on your face while it bakes with this awesome pumpkin face mask! Note: replace cinnamon with oats for sensitive skin.
1 teaspoon CBD honey (We love American Shamen's CBD Honey)
1 tbsp of Nutmeg
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1 tbsp of pumpkin purée
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply it to your face. Leave on for 15-30 minutes and wash off with cool water. Moisturize with your favorite product after rinsing.
You're The Apple of My Pie Face Mask
Apple pie? Apple cinnamon oatmeal? Yes, please! Cook up something warm and comforting or make a delicious mulled apple cider and pair it with this apple face mask! This mask is great for oily or acne-prone skin, rejuvenation, and exfoliation. Note: replace cinnamon with oats for sensitive skin.
1 teaspoon CBD honey (We love American Shamen's CBD Honey)
1 tbsp of grated apple
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply it to your face. Leave on for 15 minutes and wash off with cool water. Moisturize with your favorite product after rinsing.
Simple Canna-Berry Face Mask
Cranberries are rich in antioxidants whether you eat them or put them on your face. The cranberry fiber works as a gentle scrub for individuals with sensitive skin. The yogurt contains many vitamins and minerals for anti-aging and fighting blemishes. This super gentle and moisturizing mask will fight dry skin and help you to glow on the outside as much as weed helps us glow on the inside. It is perfect for sensitive/inflamed skin, moisturizing, and gentle exfoliation.
1 tsp CBD honey (We love American Shamen's CBD Honey)
1/2 cup of pureed cranberries
1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply it to your face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with cool water. Moisturize with your favorite product after rinsing.
Bud-Body Scrubs
Pumpkin Spice Latte Body Scrub
Use some of that leftover puree in a decedent and exfoliating body scrub! Not only is this super budget-friendly, but it is easy and will leave you smooth and silky in no time!
1 tbsp of Nutmeg
1/3 a cup of ground non-instant coffee
1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
1/2 cup CBD coconut oil (We love Lazarus Naturals line)
Make sure your coconut oil is in a liquid form. Mix all of the ingredients well in a bowl. Add the scrub to your preferred storage container(s).
Canna-Berry Body Scrub
This zesty scrub will have you feeling clean, exfoliated, and fresh. Simple to make and budget-friendly it is a perfect self-care treat!
1/2 a cup of fresh pureed cranberries
1/3 a cup of ground non-instant oats
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup CBD coconut oil (We love Lazarus Naturals line)
Make sure your coconut oil is in a liquid form. Mix all of the ingredients well in a bowl. Add the scrub into your preferred storage container(s). Store in refrigerator.
High Hair Masks
Coconut Canna-Cream Hair Mask
Give your hair some extra lovin this season! This mask is great for stimulating hair growth on thinning hair.
3 tbsp of coconut cream
2 tbsp of cocoa powder (We love the Organic Edibles line)
1 tbsp of cinnamon
Mix all of the ingredients well in a bowl until smooth. Add the mask to the hair and scalp and let sit for 40-60 minutes. Wash off with a mild shampoo.
1 Ingredient Apple Sauce Cleanser
This is the easiest way to break down clogged hair follicles and dead skin on your scalp! You will be feeling fresh and conditioned in no time!
1/2 cup of organic preservative-free apple sauce, or fresh homemade apple sauce
Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair. Leave on for about 30 minutes and rinse. We typically don't need to shampoo or condition after this, but you can if it is part of your routine!
