For the Slushies
Frozen watermelon and frozen mango - chopped into cubes
Cayenne pepper powder (optional but it makes great color and taste)
Cannabis tincture (CBD or THC) - I used Alexia Black Raspberry Road Liquid THCa
For this recipe, I eyeballed the measurements. What’s beautiful about a blended recipe, is you can always add more ingredients:
Place about ⅓ of frozen fruit, the juice of a lime, a big handful of ice, and cayenne into a blender. Top with 3-4 tablespoons of sparkling water to start.
Begin blending the slushie, stopping to scrape the sides, and add more iced or sparkling water as needed.
Add the slushie to a prepared glass. Mix in a serving of your cannabis liquid. Sip and enjoy!
Keep serving glasses in the freezer before serving.
For extra presentation points, you could rim the glass with lime juice and roll it in chili powder and salt.
I recommend using a high-speed blender for this recipe. If you don’t have one, try using fresh fruit and adjusting the amount of ice you use.
A little goes a long way with the cayenne powder. Start with a few dashes and taste as you blend!
